I am extremely delighted to have received an email informing me that six of the fifteen images I submitted into the Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year competition, have been shortlisted.
This is the first year I have entered the competition, so am over the moon to have such a good ratio of submitted images make it through to the next round.
I will most likely hear during February 2016, if any of these images have managed to go further in the competition, so watch this space.
I am delighted to announce that one of my images has been highly commended in the Take A View - Landscape Photographer Of The Year. More details can be found on my blog here.
An exhibition of my work is now open at the Richard Burton Art Centre, which is in Buckton, here in East Yorkshire. Here you will find a selection of framed landscape and wildlife photographs, as well as mounted only prints to browse through, and a selection of greetings cards; all of which are available to purchase.
The art centre is open from 11am to 4:30pm Friday to Sunday each week.
The address for the art centre is 19 Main Street, Buckton, East Yorkshire, YO15 1HU.
From the 2 October 2015, until the middle of November 2015, my work will be on display at the Richard Burton Art Centre (Fri-Sun each week), which is located in the village of Buckton, East Yorkshire (YO15 1HU).
Richard is an award winning professional landscape artist who owns/runs the gallery and attached tea room, so you can have something to drink/eat, then pop into the gallery to peruse the work on display.
There will be numerous framed prints of my landscape and wildlife photography on display. As well as the framed prints, there will also be a selection of mounted prints to browse through, as well as a selection of my greetings cards; all of which will be available to purchase.
Once the exhibition is up and running, I will post some photographs from the gallery, showing my work which is displayed.
